A widget shows the next departures from one stop inside another web page: a restaurant's directions, a venue's practical information, a town hall's homepage. Configure it at my.quavern.com/account/quavsit-widgets and paste one line of HTML into the site.
Nothing else is needed: no script, no account, no cookie, and nothing is written to the visitor's browser.
What it costs
The same units as everything else Quavsit, on the same plan, overage setting and spend cap.
1 unit per refresh, at most once per the widget's interval, however many visitors have the page open. The second visitor inside the window is served the first one's answer for nothing.
With alerts on, 1 unit at most once every 300 seconds.
0 units when nobody is looking. The page polls only while the frame is visible, so a background tab, a collapsed section or a phone in a pocket costs nothing.
The cost follows visits, not traffic peaks and not the clock.
A widget is not a screen
A reading session stops after 20 minutes. The embed then shows the last times with a control to ask for live times again. A visitor reading a restaurant's page has left long before; a screen left permanently on that page stops on its own.
If you have a screen, use a departure board — it is built for that.

The daily cap is per widget. Reaching it stops that widget until midnight, so one page that suddenly does well cannot spend the whole account's month.
Allowed sites
List the sites permitted to frame the widget: https://example.com, with nothing after the domain. A leading *. covers every subdomain, and http://localhost is allowed so a site can be built before it ships. myQuavern is always allowed, so the preview in the editor works before your own site is on the list.
The other settings
Rows. The widget has to read in a 300 px column on a phone. Four rows fit beside a page whose design is not yours.
Field. Pin it light on a light page, dark on a dark one. Following the visitor's system setting may disagree with the page around it.
Walking time. Optionally your own address, within a set distance of the stop. It adds one line, an estimate in a straight line; no routing service is called and no map is drawn.
Changing the snippet
The snippet carries the widget's token and the exact height for the rows you chose. Issuing a new token replaces it — update the page with the new snippet.
If a widget shows nothing on a site
Two causes account for almost all of it: the site is not in the allowed list in the exact form above, or the page still holds a snippet whose token has been replaced.
