Marl plans run on two ladders: individual, from Free to Ultra 20×, and organisation, starting with Team. Compare them and subscribe at chat.quavern.ai; the price at checkout is the one that applies.
How usage is counted
Not in messages. Usage is counted in credits over a rolling 5-hour window and a rolling week, both of which are visible in myQuavern. A longer exchange costs more than a short one, and a higher reasoning effort costs more than a lower one. When a window is exhausted, the answer tells you which window it was and when it resets.

Starter and Pro each offer a 14-day free trial, once per account. A trial can be cancelled at any moment before it ends without being charged.

What decides the answers you get
The plan sets the model tier, the context size, the reasoning effort available and the throughput, as well as attachments, web search and API access. All of it is resolved server-side from your account, so it follows you into Marl Code, into QuavernOS and into /marl in Quavblok without a separate plan.
API access and Marl Code
General API access, and therefore Marl Code, needs Pro or above. Free and Starter have no developer API entitlement.
Changing plans
Change or cancel from the billing page in myQuavern. See "Marl billing, trials and cancelling".
If the plans page shows no prices
It reads them from the live catalogue, and it refuses to start a checkout rather than show a guess. status.quavern.net will say whether that is an outage.
