Marl can remember a few durable details about you, so future conversations do not start from nothing. Memory is personal, optional and on by default.

What it holds and where it comes from
Items come from your personal conversations. Everything Marl remembers is listed on that page, in plain language. Organisation conversations never contribute to memory.
What you can do
Read the list. There is no hidden part of it.
Forget any item that is wrong or that you would rather Marl did not keep.
Switch memory off at any time. Existing items stop being used.
Delete everything by deleting your personal Marl data, which removes memories along with conversations and attachments.
Custom instructions are separate
Custom instructions are a short standing note about how you want Marl to answer. They are not memories, they are not extracted from your conversations, and you edit them directly.
Bringing memory from another assistant
Marl can import context you already built elsewhere. You ask your current assistant for a portable memory profile, paste its answer into Marl, and approve item by item what Marl keeps. The pasted text is analysed for that review and is not retained as a document; only what you approve is saved.
If your memory is already full, nothing is replaced automatically — manage the existing items first.
If something is remembered that should not be
Forget the item on the Memory page. That is the whole fix; support cannot see or edit your memories for you.
