Write to [email protected], or open the chat from the support page on quavern.com.
One person reads it. Expect an answer within a working day.
What to put in the message
Four things turn a slow exchange into a single reply:
Which service. Marl, Marl Code, Quavsit, Quavblok, QuavernOS or myQuavern.
What you did, in the order you did it, and what you expected instead.
The support code, if something failed. Every refusal and every error carries one, in the form
SCTY1-2400. It names the exact condition and saves a round trip. When, with your time zone, and the address of your account if it is not the address you are writing from.
Support never asks you for a password, a bearer token, an API key or full payment card details. If a message claiming to be from Quavern asks for any of those, it is not from Quavern.
The chat, and Fin
The chat is run by Intercom and loads only when you ask for it. Opening it sends Intercom your message, your IP address and your browser, and sets three identifiers on that domain. Nothing of Intercom's runs on any other Quavern page.
The first answer may come from Fin, Intercom's automated agent, which reads these help pages. It says so, and asking for a person hands the conversation over.
There is no telephone support
That is a decision, not a gap. Quavern is a small studio; a written trail with a support code in it gets a correct answer faster than a phone call would. Cancelling a subscription also never requires calling anyone — it is done from your account page.
Before you write
If a service is down rather than misbehaving, the status page says so and it is faster than we are: status.quavern.net. Declared maintenance appears there too.
